Robert Hannan
Robert has been in the Transport business for 36 years, and owned his first truck at the age of 17. He started his career doing interstate haulage with B'doubles and road trains.
Robert started in the fuel industry 15 years ago, and began working with Ken Tree (KKR Transport's Managing Director). Robert went on to become the Operations Manager for one of the largest fuel transport companys in South East Queensland.
In this role, Robert played a significant part in building the company to become a very successful fuel haulage business.
Following this, Robert became the operations Manager for a multi nation fuel distribution company. He later went on to purchase more trucks and start his own interstate transport business.
Robert and Ken had kept in touch throughout the years and when the opportunity arose Robert and Ken formed a partnership. Robert has since taken over the operations side of the business and KKR Transport are continuing to expand.
Ken Tree
Ken worked with Telecom for a significant number of years before commencing his career in the fuel industry in 1985, as the Transport Manager for Petro Fuels in Brisbane.
Over a four-year period, Ken learned a great deal about the running and overall operations of fuel transport. In 1989 Ken decided to purchase his own truck and operated this with Petro Fuels.
With the experience gained working in the fuel industry, Ken was able to put this knowledge into use when starting in business. Ken had his own trucking business for 13 years, when in 2002 he formed a partnership, this was the start of KKR Transport.
KKR currently has a large fleet of trucks and a record of significant achievements. KKR Transport is the successful business it is today, due to Ken's dedication to Staff Training and commitment to Health and Safety.
